Angie Mucha
Patient Care Coordinator - Certified Medical Assistant
“My hope is to show every patient a gentle, compassionate presence on the other end
of the phone - someone who understands how hard it is to reach out, and who will
help guide them toward the care that’s right for them.”
~ Angie Mucha
BACKGROUND
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) since 2002
24+ years of experience across multiple healthcare settings
◦ OB/GYN
◦ Primary care & family practice with diabetes-focused care
◦ Pediatrics through geriatrics
Lead Medical Assistant Trainer, Family Wellness Center
Angie (she/her) has been a Certified Medical Assistant for more than two decades, and her path through healthcare has been shaped as much by what she has lived as by what she has learned. She began her career in OB/GYN in 2002 before moving into primary care and family practice, where she specialized in diabetes-focused care and worked with patients across the full lifespan - from pediatrics through geriatrics. Along the way, she became the Lead Medical Assistant Trainer at Family Wellness Center, a role she loved deeply: guiding the next generation of CMAs toward their confidence and their calling.
But even as she built expertise in physical health, Angie always knew where she was headed. Mental health care was the destination she’d been working toward throughout her career, and Kaleidoscope Rx is where she arrived. She noticed it on her very first visit - the team atmosphere, the genuine warmth, the sense that this was a place where care actually meant something. She felt it before she ever started.
“Wellbeing is one’s state of health and stability — a positive, happy quality of life. I’ve spent 24 years helping patients navigate toward it, and I’m not done yet.”
As Patient Care Coordinator, Angie is often the first voice a patient hears when they reach out to Kaleidoscope Rx, and she holds that responsibility with care. She understands how much courage it takes to make that call - to ask, out loud, for support. Her goal in every interaction is to be the presence that makes that moment a little easier: unhurried, genuinely helpful, and free of judgment. She also understands the practical side of getting into care - the insurance questions, the benefit confusion, the logistics that can feel like barriers - and she is committed to helping patients navigate all of it. Her dedication to this work is deeply personal. In 2010, Angie lost her daughter - a grief that reshaped everything, and that required her to seek mental health support of her own. That experience gave her something no training could: a firsthand understanding of what it means to be on the other side of that call, to be the person who needs help and isn’t sure how to ask for it. After 24 years of supporting patients’ physical health, she is now here to support their mental health too - meeting people in their most difficult moments and helping them find their way through.
Angie’s Kaleidoscope
“All shades of color, from dark to light — showing what I have been able to come back from, after tragedy and pain. Deep layers and bright colors, with an appreciation for the dark times that allowed my growth. And still loving the darkness too, because it’s such a big part of who I am.”
