"Internal peace is the foundation for growth and compassion—medications can be one tool to help us get there."

"Psych meds are one tool to help us feel peaceful in our bodies when things outside are not peaceful."

"Wellbeing isn’t one thing - it’s about peace, self-compassion, and the freedom to evolve and meet life’s challenges."

Cailin Jarrell is a dual-board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. With specialties spanning medication management across physical health fields such as reproductive health and gender affirming care, Cailin brings a holistic perspective to mental health treatment.

Cailin's journey to health care began with a pivotal realization early in her medical career. Despite her voracious curiosity, love of learning, passion for improving and innovating medicine, and research-oriented mind, lab research lacked the human connection she craved. Inspired by her mother’s work as a hospice nurse, she pursued nursing and found her calling during a practicum at Planned Parenthood, where she provided comprehensive reproductive and gender-affirming care. Over the last five years in the Pacific Northwest, she has led the launch of gender-affirming care at a local suburban clinic, while also offering a variety of reproductive health services to people who face complex barriers to care; became a trusted leader in her former team; and after transitioning her work to practice in the mental health field, she continues to foster an environment of inclusivity and trust for her patients.

Since joining Kaleidoscope Rx (then Spectrum Mental Health) in 2023, she has continued her commitment to bridging physical and mental health. She treats conditions like anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and schizophrenia and has a passion for young adults living with mental health challenges. While she sees psychiatric medications as a powerful tool, she emphasizes their role as part of a broader wellness plan, encouraging clients to engage in therapy,  self-discovery, and always keeping established care with a primary care provider. Her practice philosophy centers on empowering individuals to find peace and self-compassion, paving the way for personal growth and joy in the everyday moments of life.

Cailin’s Kaleidoscope

"I imagine a kaleidoscope of soft lavender and forest green—colors that bring me calm and peace. These hues remind me of the tranquil beauty of Pacific Northwest forests and wildflowers, reflecting the serenity and grounding I hope to help my clients find."
