McKenzie Reynolds Stein

My wellbeing feels like being optimistic and ready to accept joy. It isn’t automatic or constant, but I know it by how open to possibility I am.

McKenzie Reynolds Stein

Office Manager

McKenzie Reynolds Stein thought she would be a therapist or direct service provider, but after working in psychiatric emergency services, she saw the level of trauma and emotional intensity clinicians face every day. She realized that her skills—and her naturally chill demeanor—were better suited to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Colleagues describe her as “the glue that keeps us together,” a “gentle calming force,” and “managing boundaries in full compassion."

“When I think about wellbeing, I think of balance: sleep, nutrition, movement - the external and boring parts of self-care that everyone struggles with. But it’s also our internal world: being kind to ourselves, developing a nurturing relationship with all the different parts of ourselves.”

Her own sense of wellbeing is rooted in optimism, connection, and being open to joy—something she’s been fortunate to experience in recent years thanks to the right meds, therapy, and a secure partnership. Integrating care into daily life AND daily work isn’t optional, so McKenzie was intentional about finding the right workplace to blend her priorities with the room to share and grow her skills.

She was drawn to Kaleidoscope Rx because of its leadership’s clear commitment to caring for both staff and clients. From the job posting onward, it was evident that this was a place where growth, collaboration, and respect were prioritized. That kind of culture matters to McKenzie, and she thrives in spaces where learning and adaptability are encouraged.

"Validation is healing—it’s hearing our truth told back to us without judgment."

For McKenzie, that sense of safety opens the door to change, whether through medication, therapy, or self-reflection. She sees this philosophy reflected not only in patient care at Kaleidoscope Rx but also in how the team supports each other.

McKenzie’s Kaleidoscope

“I see life and light. First, I see plants teeming with life in shades of emerald, sage, and moss green. Then I see light - warm, filtered streams of colors and reflection. They come in gold, tangerine, peach and sunshine. It makes me feel grounded - at peace. It feels like belonging.”
